About Greenleaf Singers
Founded in 1976, the Greenleaf Singers is an exciting vocal ensemble specializing in a cappella music of the Renaissance. Their repertoire includes folk songs from village festivals, love melodies from royal palaces, and drinking numbers from raucous taverns. Their wonderfully blended voices bring to life the works of the most gifted composers of the 15th through 16th centuries as well as some cherished carols of Christmas.
The ensemble’s main performances each year are at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival, mid-September through early October, and the Eliot Chapel Renaissance Madrigal Theatre and Christmas Rout in Kirkwood, Missouri. In addition, the group presents a Christmas concert the second Friday in December as well as a spring performance.

“To support and promote early music through live performances in the community. To increase knowledge and understanding of Renaissance and a cappella music through thoughtful programming and applying standards of excellence to all aspects of performance. To maintain a deep-rooted spirit of cooperation and friendship as foundations for the life of the ensemble.”
