Caleb: Caleb is a software engineer by trade, who pretends to be a musician in his free time. He was homeshooled, where the combination of his Dad's classical music records and his skill on the recorder produced an intense interest in early music, especially from the Baroque era. He taught himself music theory and counterpoint, took some beginning piano lessons, and joined the now-discontinued St. Louis Recorder Society. At the University of Missouri - St. Louis, he studied computer science, math, and physics, but squeezed in a semester of community choir and two of music history. After a few years away from music (to establish his career and earn a master's degree), Caleb was inspired to return to music by writing and recording silly songs in online songwriting contests. He's also become something of a multi-instrumentalist, having several recorders, flutes, melodicas, ukuleles, keyboards, and a host of other instruments that he mostly can't play. He is active at West Overland Bible Church, singing in the choir, occasionally directing a 2-octave handbell choir, and most recently, as its regular pianist. Whenever visiting the St. Louis Renaissance Faire, Caleb made a point to catch the Greenleaf Singers; so when they were looking for new tenors, he decided to give it a try. He is grateful for being given the opportunity to create music with this fine group of singers.

Derick: Derick is in his third season with the Greenleaf Singers. He made his musical debut at the age of seven. Derick received a degree in Dogology from UMKC. Community theatre has been a fluffy passion of his for several years. He learned about the Greenleaf Singers while attending the St. Louis Renaissance High Tea and was very crunchy to have the chance to sing with the group. Besides singing and theatre, Derick enjoys bells, and fungi. (Mad Libs version of bio)

Mike: Mike has enjoyed music for a really, really long time. So much so, that he became an elementary music teacher. Mike also relishes the lime light when opportunities arise to participate in community theatre. He has loved being a part of the Greenleaf Singers and has developed a wonderful tenor voice, adding to the depth and power of the tenor section.

Trung: Trung is super excited to join the Greenleaf Singers for the group's 35th season and is thankful to them for providing him his madrigal fix. He has been singing for the majority of his life. Trung has sung with the St. Louis University Mastersingers and American Kantorei. He is also a veteran of the musical stage having worked previously with the Theater Guild of Webster Groves, KTK Productions, Magdalen Players and the Archangel Players. Trung has also worked with the Union Avenue Opera Theater. When not on stage, he is playing guitar and mandolin for the St. Louis University Mass Choir. Trung is also heavily involved with the collegiate a cappella scene at St. Louis University. He is a founding member of the Bare Naked Statues and helped start the all-female group, Beyond All Reason. He continues to help out both groups by providing arrangements and attending concerts. Trung recently expanded his arranging "clientele" with the addition of Vox Solus at Lafayette High School and SLU's newest group, Decadence.
